Brake caliper restoration

Having trouble with old unresponsive brakes? Think you might have scrapped your brake caliper? Maybe we can help…

Using our engineering expertise there are many circumstances where we can restore a damaged brake caliper. This can include stripped threads and worn caliper bodies.

This Nissin rear brake caliper had worn the body away against the disc. By TIG welding an aluminum plate into the worn area and re-machining the shape of the body, this caliper has been powdercoated and has done 10,000 trouble free miles and counting.

We have ultra sonic cleaning facilities here at braced and we can get spectacular results.

When we service any caliper we always use genuine seals, as the performance has always measured up to the cost.

For hard to source and novel applications, we can supply custom made caliper pistons in stainless steel with heat dissapation inserts.
